Don’t Break Down the Wall

To commemorate the Overkill’s ‘Berlin Wall’ collaboration with New Balance, Berlin graffiti artists Boa, Hocus, and DURO256 painted a 20 metre long piece of the original Berlin wall. The wall length was built especially for the occasion of displaying the art show.

In the past, during the war, many artists who wished to express their wishes and feelings about the situation chose to paint over the wall covering it in art that represented their desires for the war to end. This now, is reminiscent on the idea of showing hopes and dreams and represents what they want to show. “Our aim was to bring back the spirit, even a little, to show what Berlin and Overkill is all about: reminiscence of a tubulent history, living today and make the best of now and rocking the future with style.”
